Windows 7 set-up through pen drive (without any software):

For many purposes we may need to give windows set up through our pen drive. Specially for Netbook users it is very important to know how we can do this. Let’s we find it -

Required instruments:

·   Minimum  4GB pen drive

·   DVD of windows 7 O/S

·   For netbook user’s – (Another PC or Laptop with DVD ROM supported)

 

Instructions:

Open your DVD drive. Insert windows 7 DVD on the drive. Open the disk and copy the bootsect file (Normally which is in the boot folder) directly in any root drive such as drive ‘G’ without creating any folder.

Now enter the pen drive into USB port. Format that in NTFS. Then go to Start > Accessories > Run your Command prompt as ‘Run as Administrator’
 
In command prompt write G: then press Enter. Now write bootsect.exe/nt60L: and press Enter. Remind – here ‘L’ is in where the pen drive is. That means the name of pen drive disk.

 

After few seconds from the DVD copy all files and folders to your pen drive. Then safely remove your pen drive. Power ON your desired PC. Go to Bois option. From first boot option select USB/Removable Disk and finally you can Exit. Now by using your that prepared pen drive you can start windows 7 set up.
